Andrew Keegan Slams Cops

“10 Things I Hate About You” actor Andrew Keegan has come forward to talk about the arrest over the weekend at his home.

The event was caught on camera as a swarm of police responded to a party that Keegan was throwing at the time. News reports were sketchy regarding how much force was used on Keegan and why, with some stories saying he was resistant to arrest and had to be tased.

Cops say the tasing stories were wrong and video of the scene looked as though he was tased as screams could be heard and winces on Keegan’s face can be seen.

Keegan’s side of the story is that when cops arrived and asked him to turn down his music he was cooperative. However he was then hancuffed, manhandled as he says under orders from one cop.

He says the police were just trying to prove they meant business to everyone who was on the beach neighborhood as there had been trouble there recently.

TMZ reports that cops were all over Marina del Rey and Venice due to unrest, gang related activities and shootings.
